My Living Room and A Winner

I'm really excited to share with you the photos of my "redone" living room. I wish that I had photos of the before...the before as when we moved in. Picture shiny powder blue walls, old fashioned powder blue curtains, a blue sofa and chair. But it was ours. And we were so excited. A few months ago I painted the room green and decorated with what we had. You may remember some photos. But yet, it still wasn't "me". Today I step into the room and feel so happy. There are some things left to do...mainly filling frames with photos and decorating the walls. Tje cpffee table display definatly needs a fix-up too as well as a new paint job. Perhaps the tv stand will get a facelift as well. Soon. For now, I'm here to show you what I've done.

    I absolutely love it. It looks very warm and comfortable. Looking at the pics I have lots of "favorites", but I think the child rocker and the ladder are fantastic. Way to go, it really is well done.

    Mandi, love your living room. It looks like a stager did it. Great job and know that the finished product is really a beginning. It will continue to morph as you change and your interest change. Great work and love all, and I mean all your choices.

    OMG! I LOVE it! The baskets, buckets and adorable decor look great!

    And about me being photogenic...you are tooooo adorable! Let's just say I'm "selective" when posting/scrapping photos! :) I'm also that girl that has to look at the photo in my dig camera right after it's taken, just to make sure I don't need..ONE MORE!

    Hi, I stopped over from MandiShandi's today. Love the antique ladder, the baskets & all the STARS! I agree with Holly - it all looks very Pottery Barn-ish! So comfy & clean!

    One thing that really caught my eye was your sign that says, "Scatter Joy". So simple, yet so inspiring! I enjoyed my visit today!

    What a lovely environment you've created Mandi! I'm peeking in on your ladder you mentioned in my ladder post. Even all by itself, it really adds rustic appeal!
