To My Prayin Pals

If there is one thing that I've learned through blogging, is that there is real community here. And when a sister - or brother - hears a need, they step in and pray or do what they can to help that person. All I know is that there are some real needs floating out there and I just wanted to bring them to your attention so that you can get to prayin'. Ya know, as your vacuuming, or washing your dishes, or spending some QT time with the Lord. I'm someone who always wants to know how I can better pray for someone - not just a blanket kind of prayer - but what are their real needs. How can I intercede for that person? Well, here are a couple of needs that I just want to share with you.

Jessica learned today that her sweet 4month old, Corbin, has to have a CT of his brain. There seems to be a bulge on the front of his brain. Guys, let us lift up this mom and her little one.

Then my dear friend, Mandy's sister-in-law, just lost her baby at 10 weeks. Its an extremely devastating thing for them right now. Please be praying for Mandy and her family and for Janessa, the mom who lost her little one. How devastating and heart breaking.

And finally, please pray for Tuesday and her family. I just learned about this little girl today. She is two years old and battling an aggressive tumor that from what I gather, has just doubled in size in a week. They have sent Tuesday home to be with her family as it does not seem that she will make it through the week. Please friends, pray for this family.

And finally - this is a bit praise but a reminder to lift up Harper and her family. That sweet little girl is receiving so many victories, but lets not forget to pray for continued success and recovery.

Its so heart breaking to hear of these stories. But I know that there is a God who can do exceedingly above all that we could ever ask or hope for. Let us surround these families in prayer.

Mandi, this is a really great post. There is no better way than prayer to lift someone up when they need comfort. Thanks for sharing all these special people. I follow a couple of them, but will certainly pray for them all.
