Arg!

Just when I'm ready to start posting again, the computer in my life goes kaput. It's so brand new too...my poor inlaws. They have had to replace this brand of computer (HP) three times!! There goes all of our Itunes, photos and documents. Why does technology have to be so nutty? So, I'll put of posting for a wee bit longer - hopefully only a couple of days - until the computer gets fixed. If you are wondering, I'm using one of the dinosuar computers at the library.

This Thursday, I head to Pennsylvania to help my youngest sister set up her nursery. Did I mention that she is having a boy? This will be the first baby boy born into our family. We are beyond excited!! I'm making him some cute projects for his nursery which will be done in a red, white and blue color scheme. Picture a handmade red and white quilt for his bedding (stitched up by my Mom). Cute, no? I'll be gone for about nine or ten days. I'm so excited to see my friends and family for so long! Shane will be dropping me off on the weekend, coming back home and then picking me up the next weekend. I'll sure miss him!!

While I am gone, he is PROMISING to finish the laundry room. Still, nothing is installed. No drywall has come down. Zilch. Zip. Nada. We've had the washer, dryer and pedestals since June. I finally threatened to not do his laundry anymore. (I've been hauling it back and forth from my inlaws since the winter when our machines broke.) So, what did he do? He went out and bought new socks and underwear. Then went to the laundromat. Sheesh Louise!

I hope everyone is doing great! So so sorry for my absence. I'm really dying to post about what I've been up too....but what is a good post without some photos? I guess this post will not be qualifying for any major awards since there are no pix. :) Talk to you all soon!

Go get an external hard drive back-up. We bought one a while back (wasn't expensive at all and is the size of a wallet). It automatically backs up itunes, pics, etc. Sorry you lost all of yours! :(

So sorry for the computer troubles. I had the same experience w/HP in the past. Earlier this year I purchased an Acer and love it. Good luck on the laundry room!

Have a safe trip to PA...we are having typical Fall temps in my part of PA! What fun helping with the baby preps! How special it will be to return to Canada and find your laundry room all ready to use, I bet Shane will not haul the laundry too many days while you are in PA! Enjoy your weekend, beautiful in PA today!

Ugh...I totally relate! I recently changed my blog title and everything in my blog went nuts! I thought for a while I lost all my followers!! But don't think so. Have fun visiting your sister, and what fun setting up a nursery!

Hey friend! I've missed you in the blogosphere, but I have been M.I.A. quite a bit myself too. It sounds like you are gonna have a great time in PA.

By the way, I answered your question regarding the shower curtain ruffle in my comments section of the blog. Can't wait to see what all you did for your little nephew's nursery!

My hubby would soooooo do the same thing. He'd rather buy new stuff than have to work on yet another project! Here's hoping he will get the job done while you're gone.

I cannot wait to see some pics of that sweet little nursery. Have a great time on your trip!
