A Few Milestones

We are back from our vacation to Wisconsin and Illinois. Boy did we have a wondeful time. I kept telling my husband that I missed seeing the corn fields. Where we live in Ontario, there just aren't the produce stands and road side antique stores like you find in rural America. We spent time with some friends staying right on Lake Michigan. So incredibly gorgeous this time of year.

While away, my nephew, Max Reed White, was born. He's so incredibly darling. I can't stop looking at the photos my family took. I can't wait to meet this little guy!!

The little family.

Max Reed White. I love this picture. It's like, "Hi, here I am!"

Max and his daddy.

Safe in Mommy's arms.

Snuggeled with Uncle Randy.

On the 13th of October, Shane and I celebrated our second anniversary. I just thought I would share a few wedding photos with you.

My diamond/ring set is a Polar Bear diamond - mined in Canada. On the girdle of the diamond is actually an engraved polar bear with the seriel number. I just find that way too cool.

My GQ stud.

I hated, hated, hated my hair. Hated it. Here are my girls trying to help me fix it. Even to this day I sometimes don't like my wedding photos because I hated my hair so much. The swooped up bangs - ugh.

We had eight classic cars to take us all to the reception. Cost = $50!

My neice, Natalie. She was the flower girl - a bit too young to walk yet. She was pulled down the aisle in a wagon.

My favorite.

I'm so anxious to get back into blogging! I've missed it and you so much!! This week will be awfully busy though as it is the bi-annual craft show that we help put on. There are over 100 vendors and Shane is basically the manager of the show. So he'll be working for it from Wednesday - Sunday. I'll barely see him! Sunday I help with admissions and tearing down the event. It will be an all day affair. I'm already dreaming up what sort of goodies will be coming home with me! While he is away, I hope to repaint my kitchen! We'll see if that gets done, but that is the plan. Wish me luck!!

My sister-n-law and I are also getting ready for a craft show that we are participating in next weekend. We are up to our eyeballs in wooden signs and Christmas crafts. I can't wait to show you some of them once Christmas comes a bit closer!

I'm way behind in my blog reading and writing. Can't wait to see what you all have been up too! Thanks for your patience as I get back to regularly posting. Have a great afternoon, ya'll!

Hi Mandi! I've been away from blogging for soooo long, but decided to log in today to see what's been happening in people's blogging and lives... and I'm so glad I did because I got to see your beautiful wedding photos. You were a stunning bride, and even if you didn't like your hair, I thought it was really pretty :) Congratulations on your 2nd wedding anniversary - I wish you many more happy years together.

I thought you looked beautiful and I loved your hair. Of course, I don't know what it normally looks like, but it was lovely.
