A Few More Fall Decorations

I won't be changing out the majority of my fall decorations until Thanksgiving weekend so I wanted to show you a few more things that I have in my home.

This is the big white bookshelf in my living room. I bought it last summer at a yardsale for $15. The shelf decorations themselves are a bit orangey - almost too colorful for my color scheme of taupes, creams/white and black, but it is Fall and the orange is oh so appropriate.

Mom bought me this crow to help decorate the tables for my wedding reception. She went with a Fall theme. I love this guy and plan to keep him out all year.

All of the pumpkins on this shelf are real. Are you looking at what books I read?

Imagine the chalkboard says something cute like "Boo" or "Eek". I still need to buy chalk!

The set up on my kitchen table. Three pie pumpkins on a cake pedestal with faux acorns, leaves and berries. Trust me, I could find no real acorns in the woods. I looked.

My candles are burning every evening and sometimes in the morning. It gives the house such a cozy, comfy, delicious aroma. I love it! The three are on my coffee table. I can't wait to light them tonight! It's awfuly cold and blustery outside. Hope you enjoy your evening!!

That Susan Miller book is fantastic. We recommend it to military families after they've moved to the area.

AND I read on a blog somewhere that someone had real acorns in a centrepiece and worms started coming out of them. Yuck!

I also have to comment on your beautiful wedding pics in the previous post. You were a beautiful bride. I also have to ask,, how much weight have you lost?? It seems to me you have lost quite a bit.. your profile pictures show just that.. congrats on everything!

Hey friend! I am just catching up on some blog reading and wanted to come by and see what you've been up to. The wedding pics are fantastic, you were a beautiful bride. And your fall decor is great. You really are "finding home" aren't you! How did the craft show go? I am hoping it was better with fewer bag pipes this time!
