I've been wanting to participate in Thrify Decor Chick's favorite things party. I'm usually late in real life so why not be late to her party virtually? :) I am just going to post all kinds of my favorite things. Anything that pops into my little head. Hope you enjoy a few of my faves!
I am addicted to this show right now. The Office. I cannot handle it! I am starting from the beginning and watching each season straight through. I am literally laughing out loud, so hard I snort. That's even after watching Season Two three times...in a week. I'm sick. I know.
Desperate Housewives. ADDICTION. Can't get enough of it. No I can't. That's all I can say. The drama. The suspense. So good!
I love Pizza Hut pizza. The Canadian version is not like they make it in the States. I'm finding that out about a number of foods. But boy oh boy - it's my favorite food!
Another food that I can't get over right now is Double Stuffed Mint Oreos. And because Canadian Oreos are different...ick...it is a guilty pleasure reserved only when I get to go to the States. On our last visit I ate double stuff oreos, mint oreos, candy cane oreos and white fudge dipped oreos. Obsessed? Kinda. But I can only truly enjoy them dipped and drowned in milk. Oh divine!
I am a mascara JUNKIE. No joke. I've tried numerous kinds but always seem to have in my arsenal Loreal Voloumonus mascara and Maybelline Volumize. (I wear three at a time. Yes, I know.)
If I could be a Disney historian, I would. I really just love the magic of Disney. I'm 26 and still watch their movies.
Polka Dots are so cute! They are a definate fave. I think everything is cuter covered in polka dots. Except maybe humans...I'm thinking chicken pox.
Bare Minerals. You'll never go back to liquid foundation again. It is worth the investment. I'm so serious. I'd do anything to be on one of their commercials. It is an amazing product. I have oily, acne-prone skin (gross, eh?) and I get more compliments on my skin now that I use this stuff. It gives that airbrushed look and so weightless. It's AMAZING. Can't afford it? Then Loreal Bare Naturale. I've tried every other brand out there - this is the best.
My current favorite scrapbook magazine. Creating Keepsakes. Many cute projects even if you don't scrap...which I haven't done in over a year.
There you have some of my faves. Head on over to Thrifty Decor Chick. Pour some cocoa and get to reading. I can't wait to find out some new favorites of my own!

Great ideas. In recognition of you I think I will post my own favorite things blog.
Thanks for the idea.
I grew up in Canada and remember a lot of the name brand foods being different from in the States, and usually not in a good way (Canadian Grape Nuts, blah).
But Canada has some things that the States doesn't (or at least not widely available). Tim Horton's, butter tarts, Big Turk...mmmm.
I just noticed you live in Northern Ontario...you probably don't want to say where publicly, but I have a brother in Sundridge (closest big-ish city North Bay) and my sister used to live in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog! I love the Bare Minerals also, but I ran out of the Mineral Veil. It just isn't the same for me without it! Come back for a visit again!
Mandi,
I laugh every time I read your blog because we share so many faves! Bare Minerals, Loreal Mascara, Desperate Housewives to name a few. I hated I missed out on this party, but I am definitely gonna go over and see some others' favorites. Talk to you later!
My husband and I both LOVE The Office! So hilarious!!! And as for Pizza Hut - could probably eat it everyday for the rest of my life!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pizza Hut pizza as well! Yum yum!!
I'm an Office girl, too!! Love your favourites list!!
Linda
Hello I totally posted a comment on here and it's gone! I am losing my mind. Hope I didn't leave it on someone elses!! :) I always have too many windows up. :) Anyhoo, so love the Office too, and is the cheaper foundation stuff good or just good for being cheaper?
Hi Mandy, I love The Office too!
Hi! Thanks for your comment on the warm apple drink - it was really good and warming to drink in a cold climate :) Your blog is just so cute. Really fun to hear about some of your favourites! Looking forward to reading more soon :D
Me again! Thanks for your comment, Mandi :)
The Office is one of my favourites too. At first I couldn't stop comparing it to the British version, because that was all I was used to, but once I let go of that and thought of it as a really funny, well-written comedy series in its own right, I just so enjoyed it! Now I think it's hilarious :)
Take care, and good luck with all your projects, crafty and homely!
