Thrift Store Thursday at Homebody Holly's

This post is to participate in Homebody Holly's Thrift Store Thursday party.

I've been wanting to participate for WEEKS now but never really seem to 1. either have photos of my thrifty finds or 2. be at a computer on Thursday. Today is finally my day!

As I mentioned a few posts ago, I did some shopping while visiting my beloved Pennsylvania. A friend that I grew up with has a secondhand/vintage shop with her hubby. He makes these incredible wood pieces...cupboards and such. Well, I just had to stop in and came out with a boatload of treasures. Here are some of the things I bought.

This little white table was $4.99. My mom and I just couldn't believe it! I don't even have to paint it! Bonus!! The items on top are definatly not what will be on this table nor is it where it will be in my home permenantly...but until that room is done, there it stays.

The shop was filled with tons and tons of bottles of all sorts and sizes. I bought the two tiny ones for $.50 each and the blue one for $.99. I have water in them right now trying to get the dirt out of the bottoms.

I about flipped over this milk bottle and carrier. There were quad carriers with four milk bottles in them....but I scooped up my set for $1.99. The quads were $4.99. I will probably be cutting that rid thing off the bottle. (Sorry for the poor quality of photo...my camera died after taking these shots.)

And lastly, be still my heart....this rocker. Oh how I fell in LOVE with this beauty. There was a similar blue chair that was in the same style as the rocker...but I didn't get it. Oh how I wish I had. In the seat of the chair is a little pillow my mom stitched for me. The little red pillow is a tuffet...a pincushion filled with scented birdseed. Oh it smells sooo good. I just like to hold that little pillow and sniff it. If you want to win one for yourself, pop on over to my mom's blog.

Thanks for taking a peek at my treasures! I love them all. Now head over to Holly's to see what others have posted.

You got some major bargains! The table is great, and I love the little rocker. We have a very similar (but newer) one that was my son's when he was a baby.
Glad you were finally able to join TST!

The Nemo jar is so quirky, and blue. Any glass jar in blue is a perfect jar in my book :)

My mom still has a rocking chair like yours that me and my brother used to sit in when we were kids.
