What's In My....Spice Cupboard

Hip Hip HOORAY!!!!!! I almost did a DANCE right here in the library. I was screaming inside my head with absolute and utter J-O-Y! I found a way to fix my Blogger account! I was able to finally switch back over to the new Blogger version. See ya later Classic View. Ugh! Here is the amazing link to the site that helped me fix the problem. If this is you, follow this guys advice. I didn't back-up my blog like maybe I should have, but other than that, I followed all of the steps. SIMPLE!

So, now on to my post. I'm a visual person. I like to see things. I love love love to view what people are doing. What they create. How they create. I love it all. So, I propose this. Once a week, I am going to do a "What's In My..." post. I'll choose a random spot in my home and show you the look and layout of it. Don't worry, it won't always be spic and span bc that's just not how I roll. So, without further ado....Here is what's in my....Spice Cupboard.

Here is the whole shebang. Sorry that this is a side view photo. Without photo editing software, I'm not sure how to change the view.

This is the first shelf. My spice pots are mini-cookie jar type pots. I got them at Ikea.

My egg seperator and potato scrubber. I love to open the cupboard and see these little faces smiling back at me.

Half of a set of salt-n-pepper shakers.

Flavorings and food coloring.

My pot watcher that keeps my water from boiling over when I'm all to distracted.

A bit of the second shelft. This little bucket holds baggies of spices that would not fit in the spice jars. The red cup was actually a great soup mug but the paint started to wear away (after only a few uses). It holds measuring spoons, flavor injector and mini-whisks.

The biscuit cutter my hubby made for me out of a soup can. A side note - you can also use cookie cutters in cute seasonal shapes for your biscuits.

Storage bowls. There are six - one was in use. And a great icing sugar shaker. Thanks Pampered Chef!

The top shelf holds items I don't need often. Refills of sea salt and peppercorns. Sprinkels and my flour sifter.

So there you go! My spice cupboard. When all is not organized in my life and I am surrounded by chaos, I look in here. It's always organized. And those faces make me smile. :)

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I was so happy when I saw your comments on my blog about your hatred for circuses. It is so comforting to know there are people out there who care like I do. I hope and pray for people to get educated and know the truth about what really happens when the show is not going on. I had seen that on TV about how many miles elephants travel and also how intelligent and family oriented they are. At this circus in my city, there were elephants, camels, horses, and dogs involved. Like you said, these stupid tricks they are forced to do are so unnatural and not even entertaining. I hate so much that children are brought to these shows and made to think it's O.K. for animals to be treated this way. We have to keep spreading the word and pray circuses will end forever. I will look at those sites you listed. Thanks again!!!
